Fragen und Antworten - Briefpost

  • Was darf ich als Brief versenden?

    Generell Briefe und alle Gegenstände, bis auf die, die in den AGB's der Deutschen Post ausgeschlossen und gesetzlich verboten sind. Dazu gehören Gegenstände die

    • schädlich oder gefährlich sind,
    • verbotene Gegenstände, wie z. B. Waffen, Drogen oder Alkohol,
    • und die gegen die Postbestimmungen verstoßen.

    Sie können zum Beispiel neben Briefe auch

    • Uhren,
    • Schmuck,
    • USB-Sticks,
    • oder eBay Verkäufe als Brief versenden.

    Sie müssen aber auf die Maße achten. Außerdem müssen Sie darauf achten, dass der Briefumschlag sich nicht verformt oder wellig wird, damit dieser von der Post maschinell gelesen werden kann.

    Am besten verwenden Sie dafür stabile Versandtaschen aus Pappe oder Luftpolstertaschen.

  • Wie adressiere ich den Brief richtig?

    Damit ein Brief maschinell gelesen werden kann, müssen Sie folgendes beachten.

    Beschriften Sie den Briefumschlag im Querformat:

    • nur auf der Vorderseite,
    • dunkle Schrift auf hellem Hintergrund,
    • Adresse des Empfängers -> unten rechts,
    • Adresse des Absenders immer angeben -> oben links,
    • Briefporto -> oben rechts frankieren,
    • unten einen Rand von 1,5 cm freilassen.
